Diogo Filipe Costa Rocha (born 3 May 1995), known as Rochinha, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Primeira Liga club Boavista.

Club career

Rochinha split his youth career mostly between FC Porto and most notably S.L. Benfica where he made 5 assists and scored 6 goals in the 2013–14 UEFA Youth League. He also had short stints at the youth system of northern Portuguese sides Feirense and Boavista. On 1 October 2014, Rochinha debuted professionally for Benfica B against Santa Clara in Segunda Liga.

On 26 January 2015, Benfica announced that Rochinha had been loaned to English club Bolton Wanderers.[1][2]

On 30 July 2015, Rochinha signed a three-year contract with Belgian club Standard Liège.[3] The experience in Belgium was less successful than both the club and the player expected, and on 26 December 2016, Boavista[4] announced the signing of its former under-19 player on a one and a half year contract. The financial aspects of the transfer deal were not publicly disclosed.
