RoboForm

RoboForm is a seasoned password manager and web form filler app. The app is available on Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and Linux, and it integrates with all popular browser extensions including Windows Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, and Opera. RoboForm saves and enters log-in data, as well as other sensitive data, including contact and billing information commonly requested for website form fields.

Overview

RoboForm was released in 1999 by Siber Systems, a privately held company, headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia.

RoboForm protects passwords and other sensitive data using AES256 encryption with PBKDF2. Data cannot be accessed without a Master Password which is known only to the user, and encryption and decryption takes place at the device level. RoboForm is available for use both locally and with the Cloud.

The app is available to individuals, families, and businesses. Individuals can use Roboform as a Freemium service, receiving additional features including cross-device syncing, cloud backup, and web access with a $19.95/year RoboForm Everywhere subscription.  Family plans are available for up to five members and subscriptions are offered in 1, 3, and 5 year increments. A RoboForm for Business license provides centralized management for an organization and the subscription rate is charged per user.
