Robert Gottsegen

Robert Gottsegen was an American periodontist pioneer in the field of periodontics.

Education

Gottsegen graduated from dental school in 1943 and from the postgraduate department of periodontics in 1948.

Career

Gottsegen was hired by Melvin Moss to serve as director of the Department of Periodontology, having previously been employed at the University of Pennsylvania.^[1]
