Rio Raj is a television actor and video jockey. He is best known for his role as the lead actor in Saravanan Meenatchi (season 3) and as a video jockey in Sun Music.[1]
Personal life
Rio Raj born and grown up in Erode, Tamil Nadu. He completed his schooling and college at his hometown. After completing his college, He worked in an company for few years and then moved to Sun Music as VJ. He is married to Sruthi Ravi.[2]
Television
Rio Raj started his career in Sun Music as VJ. He is being part of Sun Music for past three long years and anchors different shows. Some of the most popular television show he works are kaloorikalam Suda Suda Chennai, Your Attention Please, Coffee Tea Area. Free Ah Vidu. He won the Vikatan award for best anchor 2014.
After anchoring for a while, Rio finally got an acting chance in TV Serial. The popular VJ of Sun Music turned out as the Lead actor of Star Vijay serial Saravanan Meenatchi. The new season of Saravanan Meenatchi to act by him along with Rachitha Mahalakshmi. He also acted in the film, Sathriyan, alongside Vikram Prabhu. Recently he got yet another offer from Vijay TV to continue his VJ in a game show 'Ready, Steady, Po' with Andrews as his co anchor.
