Rinku Rajguru is a Marathi film actress best known for her role in the film Sairat.[2][3] She starred opposite debutant Akash Thosar.[4] She currently studies in the Jijamata Kanya Prashala school in the 10th standard.[5][6] She met Nagraj Manjule in 2013, and he asked her to audition for the role. She won a special mention at the 63rd National Film Awards for her performance in Sairat.[7][8]
She has already completed shooting of the Kannada version of Sairat captioned as 'Manasu Mallige '(meaning: heart is jasmine flower)) which is set to be released in February 2017.
