Rosearik Rikki Allen Simons (born September 8, 1970) is an American voice actor, writer, graphic novelist, and artist, best known as the voice of GIR in the Nickelodeon animated series, Invader Zim. Simons also co-created and wrote the Robotech: Clone comic series. In 2017, Simons voiced his first non-Invader Zim role as the Red Trollblin and some incidential Kotassian characters in the Cartoon Network series, Mighty Magiswords created by Jhonen Vasquez fan, Kyle A. Carrozza.[1]

Biography

In addition to his graphic novel and novel work, Simons also painted backgrounds for animation, including Jackie Chan Adventures and Invader Zim. He painted both issues of Jhonen Vasquez's comic I Feel Sick. Simons also works with his wife, illustrator Tavisha Wolfgarth-Simons, writing, co-illustrating, and coloring comics and novels. The two currently produce several webcomics, including "@Tavicat" and "The Trinkkits of the Sad Circus by the Sea".[2]
