Rick Lax is a Las Vegas-based magician.[1][2]
Career
Rick Lax has written three books, and created the TV show "Wizard Wars",[3][4] which aired on the Syfy network in 2014.[5][6] In September 2014, the show was renewed for another six-episode run.[7]
In 2011-2013, Lax worked as a behind-the-scenes consultant for David Copperfield.[8] Currently, Lax creates close-up illusions for PenguinMagic.com.[9]
In 2015 Rick Lax competed on The CW network's Penn & Teller: Fool Us. He performed an original card trick called Binary Code, and was the only contestant to fool Penn & Teller during the episode.[10]
Lax continues to work as a show producer and behind-the-scenes magic consultant.[3][8]
