The Richard T. Ely House is a historic house located at 205 North Prospect Avenue in Madison, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 16, 1974.[1] It is located within the University Heights Historic District.[2]
History
The house was built for Richard T. Ely, a prominent member of the faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his wife, Anna. In 1974, the house was also designated a landmark by the Madison Landmarks Commission.[3]
