Richard Reid[1] (born 29 September 1984) is a British actor and comedian who has featured in various films and television shows. He is best known for his role as Ian in Love, Wedding, Marriage (2011) and as Guy Pelly, best friend of Prince William, in the film William & Kate.

Reid attended the Reading Blue Coat School and the Redroofs Theatre School in Berkshire. He later became a member of The National Youth Theatre in London.[2]

Reid currently serves as the International Executive Creative Director of BuzzFeed

Career

In 2011, Reid was cast as Mandy Moore's brother in the romantic comedy Love, Wedding, Marriage. His film credits also include William & Kate, Sony Pictures' Austenland, which was part of the 2013 Sundance Film Festival,[3] Flutter, Murder Eleven, the Renny Harlin-directed horror film Devil's Pass,[4] and The Legend of Hercules.[5]

Reid's recent films include There's Always Woodstock and The Weinstein Company's Woman in Gold.

Reid's television credits include the series NCIS (2012 episode "The Good Son"), Sky TV's America's Elite, and guest starring in Spike TV's Deadliest Warrior.[6]
