The stripe-capped sparrow (Rhynchospiza strigiceps) is a species of bird in the family Emberizidae. It is found in Argentina, western Paraguay and southeastern Bolivia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
