Rhodes Bluff
Rhodes Bluff (79°50′S 83°20′W / 79.833°S 83.333°WCoordinates: 79°50′S 83°20′W / 79.833°S 83.333°W) is a bare rock bluff 2 nautical miles (3.7 km) northwest of Mount Dolence, forming the northwest end of Enterprise Hills in the Heritage Range of Antarctica. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from, surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1961-66. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Lieutenant (j.g.) Joseph J. Rhodes, (CEC) U.S. Navy, in charge of the maintenance program at McMurdo Station, winter party 1966.
