Rey Vargas (born November 25, 1990) is a Mexican professional boxer. He is the current WBC super bantamweight champion. He is known for his large stature for the weight class and his ability to box sharply on the outside. Vargas earned the championship undefeated.
Professional boxing career
On February 25, 2017 he defeated Gavin Mcdonnell to win the vacant WBC super bantamweight title.[1] The title fight took place in Hull, England.[2]
