Reva Institute of Technology and Management (RITM) (Kannada: ರೇವ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ) is a private co-educational engineering college in Bangalore, Karnataka affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University .[3][4][5][6] Reva Group of Educational Institutions was established in 2002, managed by Bheemaneni Educational Service Trust. In 2004 it was taken over by Rukmini Educational Charitable Trust led by Shri P. Shyamaraju. Reva is a unit of Divyasree. Reva Group of Institutions is in Ganganagar and Kattigenahalli. RITM was merged with Reva University, starting with the academic year 2015–16.
The Reva ITM is built on a campus of about 35 acres and is a technical education center.
Academic units and programs
Reva Institute of Technology and Management offers undergraduate courses – Bachelor of Engineering programmes – in six disciplines[7] and postgraduate programmes in 12:[8]
Visvesvaraya Technological University has set up its extension center in Reva Institute of Technology and Management which offers two part-time postgraduate courses: M.Tech in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems and M.Tech in Computer Network Engineering.
Placements
The Training & Placement (T&P) department is primarily a liaison between industry and the institute.[9]
