Reggie Perera
Reggie Perera was Sri Lankan Trotskyist politician.[1][2] He was member of the Lanka Sama Samaja Party and was elected to the first parliament in 1947 and from 1959 to 1971 he was a member of the Senate of Ceylon. In 1971, he was appointed as Ceylon's Ambassador to Egypt.
During World War II, he was imprisoned by the British for undermining the war effort along with Colvin R de Silva and N.M. Perera.
