Reggaeton Niños
Reggaeton Niños As one of the most popular musical styles of the mid-2000s, reggaeton gained favor across racial, ethnic, and even age boundaries. It was only a matter of time, then, until a "reggaeton for kids" disc found its way to shelves, and REGGAETON NINOS VOL. 1 is just that. While many reggaeton raps concern themselves with sexual themes or the hard-knock thug life, the tracks on REGGAETON NINOS have been edited for content and language, so concerned parents can at last feel safe letting their young ones groove out to these infectious songs. Summary
Ever since the mega-successful Kidz Bop recordings have come into existence, children have been able to enjoy the hits of the day from their own purview. Now pint-sized Latin and reggaeton fans can experience contemporary songs done up kid-style. On this follow-up to their late-2005 hit collection, the Reggaeton Ninos lend their pure, chiming, and surprisingly soulful pipes to Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" (done here as "Kids Don't Lie"), Wisin & Yandel's "Rakata," and Angel & Khriz's "Ven Bailalo," among others. "Reggaeton Ninos Vol. 2" features a wide selection of popular Latin hits from well-known Reggaeton, Latin Pop, Pop and Hip-Hop artists with lyrics that have been "nino-ized" (adapted to make them kid-friendly).
