Redknee Solutions Inc. is based in Toronto, Canada, and is a global provider of OSS/BSS software products solutions and services to the telecommunications industry. Redknee’s solutions enable communications service providers to rate, charge, bill and manage voice and data services. Redknee’s core competencies lie in rating and charging, converged billing, customer experience management, interconnect billing and customer care. Its products address wireless, fixed line, satellite, WiMAX, MVNO and broadband providers across the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.

Redknee is one of the pioneers in the real-time converged billing,[2] rating and charging domain – with more than 50 issued patents or patent pending applications.[3] The company's software products support more than 200 operators across 90 countries,[4] accounting for the management of more than 22 billion network transactions per month.[5]

Redknee’s customers include a global list of network operators, such as AT&T, O2, Singtel, Telefónica, Telus, T-Mobile, Vodafone and Zain. Redknee has been a publicly listed company on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) since 2008.[6]

History

Redknee was launched by CEO, Lucas Skoczkowski, with four other co-founders in 1999.[7] The company expanded into Europe in 2000[8] and opened R&D facilities in Pune, India in 2004.[9] It became listed as an IPO on the London AIM Index in 2007[10] and on the Toronto Stock Exchange the following year.[6] It acquired Argent Networks (2007),[11] Nimbus Systems (2010),[12] Nokia Siemens Networks BSS division (2013),[13] and Orga Systems (2015).[14]

Awards

The company has won Deloitte's 50 Best Managed Companies award eight times.[15] The analyst firm, Stratecast, named Redknee as a "Top 10 OSS/BSS company to watch" in 2009.[16]
