The company, headquartered in Wellesley, Massachusetts, was founded in 2006 by a team including Dale Renner,[1] who previously founded Accenture’s customer relationship management practice.[2] RedPoint Global is recognized for its products in operational and transactional data quality and data migration, as well as for its cross-channel campaign management capabilities.[3] RedPoint Global has been recognized by Forrester as a leader in cross-channel campaign management[4] and as a niche player in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Multichannel Campaign Management.[5] The company received high ratings in the 2015 Gartner Critical Capabilities for Data Quality Tools Report.[6]

History

RedPoint Global was founded in 2006 by current CEO Dale Renner, a former partner at consulting company Accenture and CEO of Seisint Inc. and ClarityBlue Inc.; current COO George Corugedo, a former director at Accenture and former COO/CIO of Riscuity; and current Chief Data Scientist Lewis Clemmens, a former partner at Accenture. In 2012, the company received $6.4 million in equity funding led by Persimmon Capital Partners LLC of Washington, D.C.[7] In 2014, the company raised a second round of $5.2 million in growth financing, led by Grotech Ventures .[8]

In October 2013, Hortonworks announced RedPoint Global as one of its technology partners when RedPoint’s Data Management for Hadoop 2.0 was certified on the Hortonworks Data Platform 2.0.[9] In 2014, Forrester Research named RedPoint Global a Leader in its Wave for Cross-Channel Campaign Management for the third quarter.[10] Earlier that same year, Gartner included the company as a Niche Player on its Magic Quadrant for Multichannel Campaign Management.[10]
