Rector, Missouri

Rector is an extinct town in Shannon County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The GNIS classifies it as a populated place.^[1]

A post office called Rector was established in 1894, and remained in operation until 1954.^[2] The community has the name of the local Rector family.^[3]
