Rebecca Jane
Rebecca Jane (born 11 December 1984, in Clitheroe, Lancashire) is the founder of The Lady Detective Agency, an all-female private investigation company. The business was established in 2009 after Jane suspected her first husband was having affairs. She is twice-divorced and is the mother of two daughters.
Jane was featured on the BBC's Dragon's Den on 30 September 2012.
Following her investigation success Jane has undertaken a masters in law, and is the current head of the 'Killing Catfish' campaign. Her latest campaign was launched on ITV1's Loose Women in April 2017. Rebecca, with the aid of celebrity endorsement, is trying to change the UK law and make the process of online catfishing illegal.[1]
Jane has written the book The Real Lady Detective Agency, published by HarperCollins in January 2013, the rights to which have been sold for a television drama series.[2]
In 2017 she took part in the 18th series of Big Brother UK. She faced every eviction during her time in the house, but survived until Day 18, when she received the fewest votes to save and was evicted, leaving in 13th place.
