Ray Rigby (screenwriter)
Ray Rigby (1916 in Rochford–1995) was a British screenwriter.
He is mainly known for The Hill, which won some critical acclaim, including the Best Screenplay award at the 1965 Cannes Film Festival.[1] It was inspired by his own experience in a British military prison.
He also wrote for some TV series, including Starr and Company.[2]
