Raymond Colin Clark (born June 22, 1955), known professionally as Ray Clark, is an English radio presenter, broadcaster, media trainer and author.^[1]

Clark started his career with in music in the 1970s working on local radio stations and discos throughout the South East of England, before joining the pirate radio station Radio Caroline under the pseudonym "Mick Williams" in 1983.^[2] As one of the first pirate radio stations, Clark worked in constant fear of prosecution, but continues his (now legal) commitment to the station to this day, hosting a weekly show on Friday afternoons.^[3]

Clark also hosts the BBC Essex Saturday morning show,^[4] previously having hosted the weekday breakfast and drivetime shows.

In addition Clark has hosted shows on Invicta FM, Breeze AM, North Norfolk radio, KDKA, BBC Cambridge and Chelmer FM, receiving two Sony Radio awards, two BBC Frank Gillard awards, eight New York Festival awards and five EDF media awards for both his radio shows and recorded documentaries.^[5]

Outside of radio, Clark has worked across the UK as a driving instructor, bus driver, milkman and media trainer.

More recently, Clark published his second book, Radio Caroline: The True Story of the Boat that Rocked, in 2014^[6] and his third book, The Great British Woodstock: The Incredible Story of the Weeley Festival 1971, is scheduled for publication in March 2017.^[7] His first book, The History of Burnham Carnival, was not widely released, but can be sourced from Burnham Museum.^[8]
