Ratna

Ratna (रत्न) (also Rathna or Rathan) is a Sanskrit term for "jewel".[1] It is a popular female Hindu name. The name Ratna is common in South AsiaIndia, Nepal and Sri Lanka which have significant Hindu populations, and also in Southeast AsiaIndonesia and Thailand. The variant of this name, Rathan, is used among South Indians. The name is also used in the South Asian/Indian diaspora, for example Fiji Indians, South African Indians, Mauritian Indians, Indian Americans, Indian Canadians etc.
