Rasulabad (also spelled Rasoolabad)[1] is both a tehsil and a town in the Kanpur Dehat district, Uttar Pradesh, India.[2]

Location

The town is approximately 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) away from Asalatganj towards south. Its closest railway Station Jhinjhak is towards south at distance 14 kilometres (8.7 mi). It is also connected by road in the east to Kanpur city and Bela, Bidhuna, in the west. It is also connected to district headquarters Kanpur Dehat ( Akbarpur-Mati) by road via Rura.

Religious place

Dharm Garh Baba Temple is a famous, sacred religious place in the town adjacent to police station. It is a unique example of Hindu-Muslim unity. The construction of this temple was started by police station officer Israr Khan in 1943 and was completed by officer Kunwar Nagendra Singh in 1945. [3]
