Raquel Monteza

Raquel Monteza (born September 30, 1955) is an actress in the Philippines. Her family name is Netzer because her father was a German Descent.

Career

Monteza appeared in movies such as What Am I Living For (1970) starring Eddie Peregrina, "Kapag may Gusot, may Lusot" (1973)"Bona" (1980)Bakit Bughaw Ang Langit? (1981) all starring Nora Aunor, and Zuma (1985) starring Max Laurel. She also appeared in Alma Moreno's "Dyesebel" (1978) as David's (Mat Ranillo, III) former girlfriend, Betty and Sharon Cuneta's "To Love Again" (1983) as the aggressive photographer.

Monteza also appeared in TV series such as Ang Iibigin Ay Ikaw Pa Rin (2003) starring Christopher de Leon, Richard Gomez and Alice Dixson, aired in GMA Network, and Felina: Prinsesa ng mga Pusa (2012) starring Arci Munoz, Ahron Villena and Carla Humphries, aired in TV5.

Personal life

She is married to former actor Jun Soler. She is the mother of actors Ryan Soler (Famas Best Child Actor) , Symon Soler (also became a lead singer of Jeremiah band) and Ms. Makati 2008 and singer Maffy Soler (wife of actor Robin da Roza).
