Rangreza (Urdu: رنگریزا) is an upcoming 2017 Pakistani musical-romance film directed by Amir Mohiuddin, produced by Yasir Mohiuddin and Usman Malkani and written by Akhtar Qayyum under the production banner of Vision Art Films.[1]

The film features Gohar Rasheed, Bilal Ashraf, Urwa Farhan, Ghana Ali [2] [3] ,Saleem Mairaj and Akbar Subhani in the main cast. Earlier, Sana Javed (Actress) was signed for the film but due to some emergencies she opted herself out of the film and the producers signed Urwa Farhan.[4][5] In an interview Urwa told that she will play the role of a kind girl named Reshmi.[6]

Production

Music of the film is composed by its writer Akhtar Qayyum and the songs have been sung by Abida Parveen, Qurram Hussain as his debut in Pakistani film industry.[7] The shooting of the film began in Karachi.

Soundtrack

The first audio song of the musical romance film titled 'Phool Khil Jaayein' sung by Abida Parveen and Asrar Shah released on 07/07/17 at 7:07pm PST and received positive reviews. The second audio song of the musical romance film titled 'Rangreza' sung by J. Ali released on 08/08/17 at 8:08pm PST. It is the title track.

Release

The film is expected to release on 21 December 2017.[5]
