Raksha Khadase (born 13 May 1987) is an Indian Bharatiya Janata Party politician from Maharashtra. She is a member of the 16th Lok Sabha (lower house of the Indian Parliament) from the Raver constituency.
Personal life
Raksha Khadse is daughter-in-law of BJP leader Eknath Khadse. She is widow of his son Nikhil Khadse. [1]
Career
Khadse was Sarpanch and later she was elected to Jalgaon Zila Parishad.[1] In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, she defeated Manishdada Jain of Nationalist Congress Party by margin of 318608 votes. She obtaining 605452 while Mr Jain received 287384 votes.[2]
At the age of 26, she along with Heena Gavit, became the youngest MP in the 16th Lok Sabha.[3]
She came from a wealthy family and seen in power all the time but she is very down to earth as compare to other her relatives. We can see her as next successor of Eknathrao Khadse.[citation needed]
