Rajneesh Duggal is an Indian film actor and a former model.[4][5] He is the winner of Grasim Mr. India title in 2003 and a runner up in Mr. International. He is also the winner of Kingfisher Model of the year 2005.[6] In May 2014, he won the reality stunt show Khatron Ke Khiladi 5.[7][8] He made his Bollywood debut with Vikram Bhatt's super-hit horror thriller 1920.

Career

Duggal started his career as a Model.[9] He also did several TV cals and ad campaigns like Raymond suitings, Kitkat, Monte Carlo, Wagon R, Yamaha, Videocon, Clinic All Clear.[10]

He made his acting debut with Vikram Bhatt's horror thriller movie 1920,[11] alongside Adah Sharma, where he played the lead role of Arjun Rathod, who vows to protect his possessed wife.[12] The film was critically and commercially successful in 2008. In 2011, Duggal appeared in next horror thriller Phhir, he collaborated with Vikram Bhatt and Adah Sharma for the second time. He portrayed the role of Kabir Malhotra, a doctor who is in the search of his wife (played by Roshni Chopra). However, the film met with mixed reviews and failed to hit the box-office. His third film was Chandrakant Singh's thriller Be Careful alongside Tanisha Mukherjee, released at the end of 2011, where he portrayed the character of Sameer Malhotra. Duggal's south movies including Kaatu Puli and Aranyam were box-office failures. In 2012, Duggal appeared in Vikram Bhatt's supernatural thriller Dangerous Ishq co-starring Karishma Kapoor. The film become a major flop at the box-office, receiving negative reviews from the various critics, following This Weekend. Duggal has appeared in the 2013 animated movie Main Krishna Hoon, in a cameo role. In 2014, Duggal played in Samrat & Co., in the supporting role and Spark, in the lead role of Arjun.

Same year, Duggal appeared in the erotic music video "Mohabbat Barsa Dena Tu" alongside Surveen Chawla, from the Vikram Bhatt's horror movie Creature 3D. In 2015, Duggal played the role of Shravan in Bobby Khan's thriller drama Ek Paheli Leela, co-starring Sunny Leone and Jay Bhanushali. The film met with mixed reviews, and commercially successful at the box-office. He also appeared in Syed Ahmed Afzal's crime thriller Laal Rang as Inspector, multi-starring Randeep Hooda and Piaa Bajpai in 2016.

He also did Life OK's theatrical show Ramleela Ajay Devgn ke Saath as Ram[13][14] He is also in the video of famous song by Bombay Vikings named 'Chodd do aanchal'.

In 2016, Duggal appeared in four various films including Direct Ishq, Beiimaan Love and Wajah Tum Ho etc. Rajiv S Ruia's film Direct Ishq is a romantic comedy film which was released on 19 February 2016, starring Rajneesh Duggal, Nidhi Subbaiah and Arjun Bijlani in the pivotal roles. Duggal then appeared in a lead role for Rajeev Chaudhari's romantic film Beiimaan Love alongside Sunny Leone. He also appeared in Vishal Pandya's multi-starrer erotic crime thriller Wajah Tum Ho alongside Sana Khan and Sherlyn Chopra and the horror thriller Saansein alongside Sonarika Bhadoria.

Upcoming projects

Duggal is filming for Vipin Parashar's Udanchoo, which will be the comedy thriller film co-starring Sayesha Saigal.

Personal life

Duggal graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Apeejay School of Management and a B.Com from Delhi University.[15] He is married to Pallavi Duggall,[16] and the couple have a daughter named Teeyaa.[17]
