Raheja Universal Private Limited is a real estate development company headquartered in Mumbai, India.[3] The company has completed development of over 6,250,000 square feet (581,000 m2) of real estate in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region across 48 projects.[2] Its sole completed project outside the region was at Mangalore and although it has held, sometimes in joint ventures, parcels of land in other cities, the company announced in July 2016 that it intended to abandon its plans for expansion beyond Mumbai and to divest those holdings.[5] According to a CRISIL research rating report released in 2010, the company had a land bank of close to 1,202 acres across eight cities in India.[6]
Projects include Raheja Legend, a 547-feet-high residential tower, Raheja Titanium I (now as Standard Chartered Towers) at Goregaon, and Raheja Waterfront.[7]
As of July 2016, the company operates mainly in the residential segment but had plans to develop its commercial real estate portfolio, which at that time accounted for about 10 per cent of its revenue.[5]
