Radim Šimek (born September 20, 1992) is a Czech professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing with the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Playing career
Šimek made his Czech Extraliga debut playing with HC Bílí Tygři Liberec during the 2012–13 Czech Extraliga season.[1]
In the 2016–17 season, his 5th with Liberec, Šimek led the league amongst defenseman with 11 goals in regular season. As an undrafted free agent, he agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with the San Jose Sharks of the NHL on May 23, 2017.[2]
