Róbert Waltner (born 20 September 1977) is a Hungarian football player.
Career
He returned to Zalaegerszeg many times, but never stayed longer than 3 seasons in a row. He is the all times top scorer of Zalaegerszegi TE, the team which beat Manchester United in 2002 in the first leg of CL Qualification. After a short spell in the Middle East Waltner returned to Zalaegerszeg again, and in 2009 he signed to SV Mattersburg in Austria. He could not make history at his new club, but he was enjoying himself by skiing in the Alpes. After the season 2011/2012 Waltner returned to his native tribe to Somogy Land signing a 2+1 year deal with Rakoczi FC Kaposvar.
