Qeydār (Persian: قيدار, also Romanized as Qīdar, Qidar; also known as Geydar, Ghaidar, Keydar, Kedar, Geydār Palnamnār, Ghaidar Paighambar, Keydar-Peygambar, and Qeydār Peyghāmbar)[1] is the capital of Khodabandeh County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 25,525, in 6,253 families.[2] The language people speak in their everyday life is Azerbaijani.Qeidar is also well-known for its agriculture. Khodabandeh county has been the birth-place of Sheikh Shahabaddin Sohravardi.
Tourist Attractions: The prophet Qeydar's tomb and Katale Khor cave are the most important tourist attractions of Khodabandeh County.
