Putnamville is an unincorporated community in Warren Township, Putnam County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[3]
History
Putnamville was laid out in 1830.[4] The community took its name from Putnam County.[5] A post office called Putnamville has been in operation since 1832.[6]
Geography
Putnamville is located along U.S. Route 40 at the intersection of State Road 243, at 39°34′27″N 86°51′55″W / 39.57417°N 86.86528°W.
