Pterothrixidia is a genus of snout moths. It was described by Duponchel in 1836.[1] It contains only one species, Pterothrixidia rufella, which is found in France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, the Balkan Peninsula, Ukraine, Russia,[2] Kazakhstan,[3] Turkey and Iran.[1]
The wingspan is about 27–28 mm.[4]
