Prynowo [prɨˈnɔvɔ] (German: Prinowen, from 1938-45 Primsdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Węgorzewo, within Węgorzewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Węgorzewo and 95 km (59 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
