Protivín (Czech pronunciation: [ˈprocɪviːn]) is a small town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 5,000 inhabitants. Protivín is twinned with Blackwood, Caerphilly in Wales
Geography

Many homesteads are inspired by the country baroque style.
The town is also known for the Protivín Brewery, which produces a regional beer label Platan.
