Peace Proscovia Drajole, (b. November 1, 1989), nicknamed "Warid".,[1] is a Ugandan athlete from Arua. Voted the country's top athlete of the year in 2014, she has participated in numerous sports. Her first passion is Netball; she was a member of the 2015 2015 Netball World Cup[2] championship in SydneyAustralia. she was a member of the The Gazelles[3] basketball team that participated in the AfroBasket Women 2015[4] championship in Cameroon.
After playing for Loughborough Lightning in 2015 and 2016, Proscovia re-signed for a further two years following changes in visa regulations.[5][6]
Awards
She was named Uganda's Athlete of the year (2014).[7]
Education
After graduating from Uganda Christian University in Sports, Proscovia won a sports scholarship to study MSc Marketing at Loughborough University.[8]
