Producers Guild of America Awards 2008

20th PGA Awards

January 24, 2009

Best Producer - Motion Picture:
Slumdog Millionaire

Best Producer - Animated Feature:
WALL-E

The Producers Guild of America Awards 2008 or 20th Annual Producers Guild of America Awards was held on January 24, 2009 and honored the top producing in films and television for the 2008 calendar year. They are often referred to as the P.G.A. Awards 2009, because they are held in 2009 while they honor the achievements of 2008. Most Academy Award precursors endure this problem with nomenclature, which is why it is more certainly accurate and effective to refer to each particular award ceremony in accordance to its standing with the legacy of the chain of that particular award (in this case, the 20th Annual P.G.A. Awards).
