Prince Adalbert of Prussia (1884–1948)
Prince Adalbert of Prussia (Adalbert Ferdinand Berengar Viktor; 14 July 1884, in Potsdam, Germany – 22 September 1948, in La Tour de Peilz, Switzerland) was the third son of Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany by his first wife, Princess Augusta Victoria of Schleswig-Holstein.
Marriage and Issue
He married Princess Adelheid "Adi" of Saxe-Meiningen (16 August 1891 – 25 April 1971) on 3 August 1914 in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, and had the following issue:
- Princess Victoria Marina, stillborn daughter (4 September 1915)
- Princess Victoria Marina of Prussia (11 September 1917 at Kiel – 21 January 1981 at Taos, New Mexico) who married an American lawyer, Kirby Patterson, and had the following issue:
- Berengar Orin Bernhard Kirby Patterson (21 August 1948 at Springfield, Missouri - 18 May 2011 at Duarte, California).
- Marina Adelaide Emily Patterson (21 August 1948 Springfield, Missouri - 10 January 2011 at Downey, California); wed John William Engel (b. 22 September 1946) on 24 September 1982 at Las Vegas, Nevada; had the following issue:
