Ribeira Peixe (formerly: Perseverança[1]) is a village on São Tomé Island in the nation of São Tomé and Príncipe. Its population is 543 (2008 est.).[2] The stream name means Fish Creek in which the stream are abundant in fishes.

As is with the south of the island and the whole district, its primarily spoken language is the Angolar Creole (Ngola).

The village forms a part of the Obo Natural Park. n 2007, there were proof that the São Tomé fiscal (Lanius newtoni) they are founded in Ribeira Peixe and in Ana Chaves, based on a few observations that they were 50 examples.

The only football (soccer) club is FC Ribeira Peixe.
