Prem Bahadur Singh

Prem Bahadur Singh (Nepali: प्रेम बहादुर सिंह) is a Nepalese politician. He is the chairman of the [[Samajbadi Prajatantrik Janata Party, Nepal ( Now socialist peoples party - SPP) United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN)

He was previously a political leader of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist).

Elected Member of parliament ( National Assembly) from CPN-UML on June 26, 1991 for a term of six years.

Singh was appointed: 

≈ Minister for Law and Justice on 25 March 1997.

≈ Minister for Law and Justice on 29 June 1997.

≈ Minister for Law and Justice on 3 July 2009.

≈ Minister for water supply and sanitation on 24 December 2015 .

≈ Minister for water supply and sanitation on 19 January 2017.

≈ Now Minister for science and technology on 9 March 2017.

Singh won the Kalikot-1 seat in the 1999 parliamentary election of house of Representative as a CPN(UML) candidate. Singh got 10813 votes, defeating the Nepali Congress candidate Netra Bahadur Shahi.

Singh Resigned from CPN(UML) and established socialist democratic peoples party Nepal (Now socialist peoples party ).

In the 2008 Constituent Assembly election, in which SPJPN won one Proportional Representation seat, Singh was selected to represent the party in the [Nepalese Constituent Assembly|Constituent Assembly.

In the 2013 Constituent Assembly election in which socialist peoples party won one Proportional Representation seat, singh again was selected to Represent the party in the Constituent Assembly. After the Constituent Assembly transform in to Legislature-Parliament. Now singh is member of Legislature-Parliament of Nepal and minister of science of technology.
