Prelude... to Cora is the debut studio album by American jazz trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire.[2][3][4] It was released on April 21, 2008 via Fresh Sound New Talent label and contains 10 tracks. Akinmusire composed all the music, save for three tracks, including jazz standard "Stablemates" by saxophonist Benny Golson. The album is dedicated to Akinmusire's mother, Cora.[5]
