Pratapa tyotaroi is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. Forewing length: 13–18 mm. It is endemic to the Philippines. On Mindanao island it is distributed on Mount Apo, Mount Kitanglad and Mount Masara. In Danielsen & Treadaway (2004) subspecies cadohaana is categorized as "vulnerable" and subspecies ismaeli is categorized as "lower risk, conservation dependent". Four subspecies are described as follows.
