Port Dufferin, Nova Scotia
Port Dufferin, located at 44°54'57"N, 62°23'13"W, is a community on the Eastern Shore of the Halifax Regional Municipality of Nova Scotia, Canada approximately 104 kilometres (65 mi) east of Halifax on Trunk 7 on Marine Drive. Port Dufferin, formerly known as Salmon River, was renamed in 1899 by an Act of Parliament for the Earl of Dufferin, Governor General of Canada from 1872 to 1878.[1][2]
