Pokémon: Generations was an unlicensed 3D Action RPG based on the Pokémon franchise,[1] first released on February 2, 2013. The game's final update came on January 12, 2014, two months prior to lead developer Xatoku's announcement of the project's cancellation on March 2.

Gameplay

Pokémon: Generations was aiming to be a 3D Action/Adventure/RPG set in the universe of the first generation of Pokémon, bridging the gap of the Red/Blue/Yellow and FireRed/LeafGreen games.[2][3] Pokémon: Generations did not use the random encounter system of other Pokémon games, instead, Pokémon can be seen wandering around the environment and the player may send out his own Pokémon to fight them as he chooses.[4] Control is done with the WASD keys and the mouse (to rotate the camera). The game can be played both in single-player and multiplayer.[5]
