Plan C Studios is an Indian motion picture production founded as an alliance between Anil Ambani’s Reliance Entertainment & Neeraj Pandey, Shital Bhatia’s Friday Filmworks.[1] It is the result of a 50:50 joint venture between the two production houses.

Plan C Studios made waves in the Indian film industry by launching its first production, Akshay Kumar starrer Rustom (film) which released on 12th August 2016.[2]

After kick-starting its journey with Rustom (film), a period drama directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, Plan C Studios’ new projects include Taapsee Pannu starrer Naam Shabana (prequel of Neeraj Pandey’s national award winner film titled Baby), Ghalib Danger (movie adaptation of Neeraj Pandey’s novel) & films helmed by Shivam Nair, Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, Anurag Singh (director), Anvita Dutt Guptan & Shree Narayan Singh.

Naam Shabana will release on 31st March, 2017.[3]

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar will release worldwide on 11th August, 2017. It is a love story with a satirical flavor directed by Shree Narayan Singh and produced by Aruna Bhatia, Plan C Studios and Abundantia. It is presented by Viacom 18 and KriArj Entertainment.[4]

Aiyaary, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee will release in 2018.

Vision

Plan C Studios aims at creating content rich cinema by designing big budget Bollywood films.
