Piso 21 is a group from Colombia, their name came from an elevator in a building in Medellin Colombia, and the building had 21 floors, it was at that time they become the group Piso 21.[1]
Career
Piso 21 the Colombian group nominated for the Latin Grammy as Best New Artist, is the combination of these 4 young music lovers who have managed to captivate thousands of followers and spread them with their romanticism and charisma, they are Pablo Mejía (Pablito), Juan David Huertas (The Profe), David Escobar (Dim) and Juan David Castaño (The LLane).
In a short time they have reached the first places in the radial listings with songs like "Run the Risk", "I do not need you", "Let me" and "Give me of your Heart" and multiple satisfactions and recognitions, among others, the Nomination to the Kids Choice Awards Mexico 2013 as "Best Musical Artist", Nomination for Latin Grammy Awards in 2012 as "Best New Artist", 5 Nominations for Premios Tierra 2012-2013, as "Best New Artist", "Best Pop Artist Solo And "Best Pop Interpretation", 4 Nominations for the 2011, 2012 and 2013 Shock Awards, Winners of the "Best New Talent 2010" Prize, SAYCO Awards 2010 (Society of Authors and Composers of Colombia), Performers and Image of "Feria en mi Casa" official song during the last 5 years of the Fair of the Flowers of Medellín. FLOOR 21 is releasing "Suele Suceder" their new song with the artist Nicky Jam and that is already a success in social networks and is outlined as the youthful success of the first semester; PISO 21 is the new blood of Colombian music for the world, as it is ratified by the different countries where its music already sounds without stopping like Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Venezuela, Ecuador and Peru among others.[2]
The group has toured extensivey in South America and overseas.
