The Pirre hummingbird (Goethalsia bella), also somewhat misleadingly[2] known as the rufous-cheeked hummingbird, is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is the only species in its genus.

Found in Panama and far northwestern Panama, its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
