Pioneer is a village in north-east Tasmania, Australia. It is at the junction of Gladstone Road and Racecourse Road. Tebrakunna Road heads out to the east. Other hamlets in the area are Herrick and Winnaleah. At the 2016 census, Pioneer had a population of 144.[1]
History
Bradshaw's Creek Post Office opened on 1 July 1883 and was renamed Pioneer in 1955.[2]
