Pinky Malinky is an upcoming British-American animated television series created by Chris Garbutt and Rikke Asbjoern for Nickelodeon, based on Garbutt's animated short of the same name produced by Cartoon Network Development Studio Europe, which was released in 2009. In 2015, it was greenlit for a pick-up of 20 episodes,[1] and is currently in production at Nickelodeon. It was meant to premiere in 2016 then it was moved to 2017, but it was again delayed to early 2018.

It chronicles the adventures of Pinky Malinky (voiced by Lucas Grabeel), an ordinary high school student who has inexplicably transformed into an anthropomorphic hot dog, and his efforts to climb up the social ladder with his two human friends, Babs Buttman (Diamond White) and JJ Jameson (Nathan Kress).
