Pier Francesco Garoli
Pier Francesco Garoli or Caroli (1638–1716) was an Italian painter, active in painting
Biography
His place of birth is unclear; some sources say Garoli was born in Turin.[1] He moved to Rome where he became a professor of perspective at the Academy of St Luke.[2] He painted mainly canvases of capricci or interior vedute of churches. He created architectural designs. He also painted frescoes, including for the casino della villa del cardinal Gaspare Carpegna.[3]
